Day 01 Santiago City Tour
Reception at Santiago Airport and transfer to the selected hotel.
By the afternoon city tour in Santiago.
Santiago is a mixture between the old and the modern, characteristic that we invite you to know. Our tour through Santiago will show the immensity of the city, its varied geography and civility. We will guide you through the Main Square of Santiago, where the Cathedral, Main Post Office and City Hall are located. You will be told about the origins of our city. Next stop is the civic neighborhood and the surroundings of La Moneda government palace. After that we will be driven through some of the old neighborhoods of Santiago, such as Republica and Concha y Toro neighborhoods, Later, we will visit the eastern part of the city and we will see the modern buildings and the changes that they have brought to the neighborhood. We finish our tour in a handicraft store, located in an exclusive neighborhood, where we will appreciate with a Pisco Sour, Lapizlazuli masterpieces, made with this stone that only exists in Chile and Afghanistan.
Return tothe hotel and lodging.
Day 02: Santiago - Valparaíso - Viña del Mar
Breakfast buffet served in hotel restaurant. We will begin our tour from the hotel, in a 120-kilometer trip towards the Pacific Ocean. Our "Garden city", Viña del Mar, will charm us with its architecture, its streets, palaces, and Quinta Vergara. We will have the possibility to know a Moai statue from Easter Island and a handcraft store of lapizlasuli (Faba). We will be driven by the coastal border and visit the port city of Valparaiso dating back 1536. The city was declared World Heritage by Unesco and it is currently the site of the legislative power of Chile. It is a magical place of unique and unforgettable landscapes with colorful neighborhoods and picturesque funicular elevators. We will visit Sotomayor Square and the port, where we can navigate through Valparaiso Bay. In the evening return to Santiago.
Day 03 Santiago - Puerto Varas – Frutillar.
Transfer to Santiago airport. Flight to Puerto Montt. Reception at the El Tepual Airport (Puerto Montt) transfer to the hotel in Puerto Varas. After that we will visit the city Frutillar: We will initiate our tour to Frutillar along the western bank of the Llanquihue Lake. In our tour we will visit the Llanquihue's industrial twon where we will access to a rural way used by the farmers of the area. Along the route, it is possible to watch the agricultural and livestock activit. We also have the chance to see along the route beautiful old German houses used as lodgings nowadays. Arriving in Frutillar, you can feel a different atmosphere where the pleasant life is mixed with beautiful gardens, coloring houses, and tea lounges , and the great Teatro del Lago (Theater), located in the promenade, watching the Llanquihue Lake. Return to Puerto Varas, accommodation.
Day 04: Puerto Varas - Puerto Montt - Chiloé Island - Castro - Dalcahue
Join us to enjoy this full day tour, which will allow us to visit the northern part of Chiloé Island. After a 30-minute trip by ferry, watching a wide variety of birds, we will get to a small village called Chacao to visit the Main Square and the church. We will go to Dalcahue, where we will stop at the promenade to walk and visit the handicraft market, museum and church. Time to lunch. We will continue to Castro city through a coastal road. We will head to the Gamboa River stilt houses, the Main Square and its church. We continue to a small village known as Nercón to visit the last church of our journey. Return to Puerto Varas.
Day 05: Puerto Varas - Petrohué - Todos los Santos Lake - Peulla
Breakfast at the hotel. At 08:30 hrs., we will initiate the excursion beginning the tour visiting the Petrohué Riverfalls. After that, we will arrive in Petrohué to embark in the navigation that will take us to Peulla, a small ecological village of 120 inhabitants. It is part of the famous tourist circuit called Cruce Andino (Andean Crossing). The sailing lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes approximately, from where we will be able to watch the volcanoes Osorno, Puntiagudo, and Tronador, besides a privileged view of the Margarita Island. Once in Peulla, you have the opportunity to enjoy some of the excursions of adventure (with additional cost for the passengers) as canopy, horseback riding, fishing excursions, ride in jetboat, and a safari offered in this paradise of the nature. These tours can be taken in the navigation. Return to Puerto Varas, accommodation.
Day 06: Puerto Varas – Puerto Montt Airport - Punta Arenas – Otway Penguin Colony - Puerto Natales
Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer to the airport of Puerto Montt.Flight to Punta Arenas (We recommend you to take the first flights to arrive earlier to Punta Arenas). Reception at the Punta Arenas Airport. At 3:30 pm app. visit to the Otway penguin colony (visit to penguin colony from October 15 to February 28 aprox. ). Return to Punta Arenas. Transfer to the bus station in Punta Arenas to take a regular bus at 8:00 pm. to Puerto Natales. (249 km / 03 hours of trip). Arrival in the city of Puerto Natales. Lodging.
Day 07: Puerto Natales - Torres del Paine National Park
Breakfast. At 07:30 am departure from your hotel to begin the full day excursion that will drive us first to the Milodón Cave (Natural Monument) and later to Torres del Paine National Park where we will have a panoramic view of Paine mountains as welcome. Also we will admire lakes such as Sarmiento ,Nordenskjold, and Pehoe. Its fauna will be present through guanacos, foxes among others and big variety of birds of easy observation during the trip. A short trek will take us to a big waterfall called Salto Grande which is part of park hidrographical net. Later, retaking the main way, it access to CONAF central office, to continue to the Grey Lake, where after a 30 minutes walk through a millenium forest we will get to its beach to admire a great number leading offs floes from glacier. A box lunch is included. The end of this day will be dropping off in a Hosteria located in Serrano River area, border of the park.Accommodation.
Day 08: Torres del Paine - Grey Lake
Breakfast. Transfer at 07:30 am from the Hosteria to the Grey Lake area to start a sailing trip through the Grey Lake to get to the wonderful walls of the Grey Glacier. This tour takes 3 hours round trip and depends on climatic conditions. It includes menu lunch in Hosteria Lago Grey. At 3:00 pm, return to your Hosteria. Notes: We recomend you to take the first navigation departing at 09:00 am so you will be able to walk near Hosteria by your own during the afternoon.
Day 09: Torres del Paine - Sailing down Serrano River– Punta Arenas.
Breakfast. At 09:00 am. you will start a sailing trip down Serrano River with zodiac boats with capacity for 10 people. It includes waterproof clothes. The route is 32 kms and it lasts 4 hours. It is possible to get a beautiful view of this area not so visited such as Tyndall and Geike Glaciers, leafy native forests and several places covered with snow. Ending this excursión you will arrive in the Bernardo O’Higgins National Park where there is a walk to get closer to the Serrano Glacier. (1 hr.) At 2:00 pm there is a connection with a bigger vessel to return to Puerto Natales. It includes menu lunch in Perales Farm House. Once in Puerto Natales, there is a next bus departing to Punta Arenas. Transfer to your Hotel. Accommodation.
Day 10: Punta Arenas - Punta Arenas Airport
Breakfast. Free morning to visit main sights in Punta Arenas by your own or by taking an opcional excursión near city. Afterwards, transfer to the airport. End of our services.
