In this beautiful zone, the beauty of the landscape is mixed with the great archaeological, artistic, and historical heritage. It is at more than 3800 meters. Its commercial activity is based mainly on the ranching.

Among its main attractions is the great cannon Cañón del Colca, where different recreational activities and adventure tourism can be practiced. Also, thermal spring can be enjoyed with known curative properties.

It is a zone of racial diversity, produced by the great number of pre-Columbian cultures that lived in the place, increasing the cultural richness of one of the most interesting zones of Perú.
