Know Manta
The port of Manta is located in the Pacific Coast of Ecuador, being one of the first tourist municipalities of the country. It possesses beautiful beaches, ideal for the practice of nautical sport, especially, windsurfing.
In its beautiful resorts, as the beach Los Esteros or Tarqui, is possible to enjoy the delicious gastronomy of the zone, with fish and fresh seafood. Also, it possesses Inca archaeology remains, as the famous U-shaped chair, discovered in excavations in the zone.
Near to Manta is located the spectacular Isla de la Plata, with a flora and fauna similar to the Islas Galápagos, being another natural area the wet forest of Pacoche.
Manta is also a cultural city, being the headquarter of the Festival International de Tetra. Additionally, it is outstanding for its commercial importance as a tuna port, being projected as one of the most important in South America in next years.
