It is the capital and main urban, commercial, and cultural center of Chile. It is a modern city, with different neighborhoods and entertainment, having the particularity of being near of other attractive points, as the beaches of the central coast and the Farellones, La Parva, and Valle Nevado ski centers, amongst others.
It is the third Latin-American city with the best quality of life. It possesses wide natural areas and recreational spaces, as the Parque Forestal, the Cerro Santa Lucía, the Parque O'higgins, and the Cerro San Cristóbal Also, it has interesting buildings, as the Palacio La Moneda, the Church and Convent San Francisco, and the Cathedral Metropolitana.
Also, it is a cultural city with important festivals, as the Tetra Santiago a Mil, which is realized in the summer. It possesses big event centers, as the Estación Mapocho, the Tetra Municipal, and the Movistar Arena. In addition, it has the beautiful Biblioteca de Santiago, the Muse de Bellas Artes, the Muse de Historia Natural, amongst others.
It possesses an excellent tourist infrastructure, good highways connecting the city and the rest of the cities of the country, and restaurants to enjoy the night-life.
