The city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra is located to the east of Bolivia, on the banks of the Pirai River. It possesses a great architectural richness, with colonial buildings with Spanish influence, and is outstanding for its exuberant vegetation, forest, and meadows.
Also, it has religious art, which is in the Muse Catedralicio de Arte Sacro, with religious objects of the missions. Other constructions are the Iglesia de San Andrés, the Iglesia de San Roque, the Santuario de la Virgen de Cotoca, and the Cathedral Metropolitana.
