Know Trelew
This beautiful city is located in north-east Chubut Province. It is famous for the Egidio Feruglio Paleontological Museum, which has exhibitions of Patagonian flora and fauna of more than 300 million years. Besides, impressive remains of dinosaurs, which turns Feruglio Paleontological Museum into one of the most important museums of South America.
Trelew also is a historical city, being from its beginnings a commercial knot that connects different zones of the province. At the beginning of the 20th century, its railroad connected the Atlantic coast of Puerto Madryn with the interior zone.
Here, the Eistedvod event of Chubut is realized, where diverse artists meet presenting their works. But its biggest attraction is the rural tourism. It is possible to enjoy the flora and fauna of the zone, typical food and beautiful landscapes.
In addition, it is nearby to beautiful towns, such as Punta Tombo, with magellanic penguins and point of southern right whale contemplation, or Camarones city, a fishing zone that offers recreational activities and beaches, amongst others.
